Planet TV & Appliances is a family owned and operated business.  It was started by Anthony Prisco, Sr in 1968.  Originally opened as Prisco TV in Mount Vernon, New York.  In 1974 the store began selling brand name appliances and joined Intercounty Buying Group.  The business grew quickly and moved to larger facilities.  The family opened a second store in White Plains, New York and changed the name to, "Planet TV & Appliances."  

In 1999 it was decided to move the White Plains store to Stamford, Connecticut.  The new facilities are larger, with more parking.  The expanded facilities enabled us to include show rooms featuring Audio and Home Theater products as well as more floor space to display a larger variety of appliances.
