I purchased this A/C based only on the reviews I have read online and I am very happy so far, however, I can™€™t understand why Frigidaire did not put a screen on the back of the unit to protect the fins. Several birds have already struck the fins causing minor damage.

Great AC @ low hourly cost.

I have had a 12,000 btu frigidaire for about 14 years and it was still cooling nicely. It was in need of a thorough cleaning and I had installed it threw the wall chalked and trimmed in. This one has a slide out chassie so it will only take minutes to take out and clean compared to about 4-6 hours for the old one. With about 400 Sq' this unit barely ever runs and with the thermostat my rooms are always comfortable. Thank you Frigidaire, I wish you had offered a slide out chassie years ago.

I am happy with my new AC. It is getting me through a hot, uncomfortable time this .summer. Having a relatively quiet unit is very important to me and this one is. There is one adjustment that needs to be made as occasionally a slight clanking sound comes from the unit for a short time and then goes away. I am having someone come to adjust this.

Couldn't have made a better choice. I still can't believe how quickly it cools the room. The eco mode is great because it cools the room and then takes a break until it needs to start cooling again. The room it cools gets direct sunlight and tends to be pretty warm and this unit gets the job done better than anything we've had before. You will not be disappointed if you purchase this air conditioner.

This unit handles a large room really well and while this is the biggest unit we have, it™€™s definitely the most quiet one. Installation was a little tricky as some of the parts seemed to have misaligned screw holes and the instructions do reference a few things that don™€™t apply to this model.
