I bought this last summer and got it in July when the one from Sears quit. I have 2 of the Frigidaire air conditioners. My other one is slightly smaller but both do a great job. Very quiet, and cool nicely. The remote is a great feature to with the tempture sensor in it to where you can set it somewhere in the room to take the temperature to the set temperature.

Unfortunately I am very disappointed with this unit! I bought it to replace a 20,000 BTU unit that was great for 18 years, and it really does not cool the space even though it™™s a 22,000 BTU. I really am dissatisfied and don™™t know how to proceed!

I purchased this unit about 6 weeks ago and have been very happy with it's look and performance. It took me approximately 2 hours to install it through the wall after removing the old one and we are delighted with the features and power. Thanks again Frigidaire for a quality unit at a reasonable price.

No sooner then we mounted the unit ,the weather got real hot real fast. 22k btu cools the whole house. Open floor plan allows us to use two box fans to circulate cool air. Hot water baseboard heating means no duct work for standard air conditioning. Our new Fridgdaire FFRE2233S2 is perfect .

I bought this unit and had it installed. We went to plug it in and found the plugin on the cork was broken. We called Frigidaire, and Fingerhut, but neither would stand behind there product. We had it repaired and it works great. Easily cools my 1100 square food home.

We replaced an older 22k unit in the same window with this one. Features and noise level are all much better than what we replaced, but it just doesn™™t seem to cool the far reaches of the space we™™re cooling as much or as quickly as I expected. Otherwise it™™s a solid unit and we™™re happy with it, I™™m sure it™™d be spectacular in a slightly more confined area that our application.

So far this air conditioner works so very well. Cools down the living room & kitchen in minutes. And love how it constantly regulates the 68° temperature setting when you're away for the day. Yes, it is loud, but what air conditioner isn't? And so far no performance problems with the unit itself or remote. I recommend this brand and modern to everyone.

Unit works really well, cools down the area quickly. Quieter than previous unit. Mainly run it on low since it cools so well. I would have rated it as five stars but the packaging was inadequate to protect the unit. There is a crack on the faceplate that, fortunately, doesn't show too much in its installed position. Exchanging the unit would have been too much hassle as it would have interfered with the installation timing as I needed help lifting the unit into place. It is rather heavy. This form for reviewing is very frustrating!!!!!!!!

I purchased this unit in early June before the real heat of summer came and it was the best decision I could have made. I bought it for a connecting living and dining rm with a open kitchen next to the two rooms. The A/C does a great job keeping all three rooms cool and comfortable without working very hard. The unit runs fairly quiet allowing you to still hear the t.v. in the room with it running. Very happy with this purchase.

I'm so happy with this purchase!! This air conditioner is very powerful, it cools the whole downstairs and even the kitchen which is in a corner far from it; I most of the time put it at fan because it gets cold after a short period; it is very quiet too. I'm so very happy with this purchase and definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great air conditioner to cover a large area.

Had this unit installed 8/18/16. Didn't fit into the same opening as my previously installed 11 yr. old Frigidaire, so had to pay for costly adjustments.Having had it in the wall during last winter, you have no idea how much air this unit lets blow into the house and because of the slanted inside cover, it's not easy to get a cover for it. I ended up taking a clear plastic and masking taping it onto the unit, but the wind even blew that open. And because you can't put the unit plug back into the front cover like my last one, you can't seal it completely. I hope Frigidaire addresses these problems. I had written a review last year stating these problems, but notice my review was removed this year!! The only good thing is that it does cool our home nicely.

I purchased this ac 2 months ago. Not very happy. Not cold enough when we have more 6 persons we have to lower it to 68 or less. The identical ac before this one worked for one summer very cold. Than needed coolant three summers in row. Call Frigidaire not to cooperate just referred to repair companies. I hope this one does not do the same. By the way that ac was less than 5yrs.

Keeps the room cool, is a little bit on the noisy side. The economy setting is probably saving a lot of energy but is annoying when the unit shuts down then starts up again so many times.

Would get a five star rating if the expensive to replace remote didn't fail after just two days. Otherwise, the low energy use for a large unit is a strong plus. And it is remarkably quiet with a strong output.

I brought this ac unit about a month ago at the end of the season, we have had a very hot summer that seem to extent, I had one issue with the unit not working in fan only mode, that began work properly on its own hours later. It's a little noisy but cools my whole first floor area about 1,000 sq ft with no problem. This is only the first year, end of season that I had the unit so I have to say I'm pleased so far with performance.

Was working great for 3 years now have always kept felter changed and followed all direction! But now it has stopped blowing cold air! I have wiped down everything with damp cloth like the manuel says and dryed with no improvement should it be taken apart a cleaned not specified what to do next in guide! I love the ac unit and dont want to lose it someone please help! ASAP!

I bought this AC and I wouldn't buy any other brand I've got Frigidaire in two house I've got four ACs and one of them is over 15 years old another one is over 10 years old the other two ACs I just bought in the past 2 months I've had no problems with their ACs very reliable and do the job intended for.

I bought this a/c to replace my 18,000 Frigidaire that conked out after 11 years of good service. This new a/c is fabulous. Cools my kitchen, den, dining room and foyer. I was very lucky that the new a/c fit into the sleeve of my old a/c perfectly.No installation problems.

I automatically decided to buy another Frididaire when my previous one died after 14 years!!!! (18K BTU) I wanted to get the same one since it worked so well and was very energy efficient. I NEVER had any problems year after year, but it was discontinued. This new one is 22K BTU, so one would expect even better cooling and stronger power. It is NOT! I cannot use the energy saving mode because it is not efficient. The fan automatically turning on every ten minutes for 10 seconds in energy mode is also annoying. I was constantly sweating throughout the day, I wake up drenched in the morning. I have to have it on constant cool mode at 68, and even then it is not comfortable, and now my electric bill is higher. My old one was forever set on 72 in energy mode and it kept the whole house (996 sq ft) cool!. Now I am stuck with a $660 air conditioner that doesn't do it's job, because it would cost me more money to have it uninstalled, and then reinstall a new one, even if they did accept a return. So angry!

The product is solid. It is louder than preferred and the sensor on the device consistently displays a temperature 2-3degrees cooler than the rooms actual temperature. The sensor on the remote works well enough but doesn't continually stay active so ... Every once and a while you have to remind the machine that it is hot in the room if you put it on energy saver mode.
