I love this oven. It cooks great, looks great, and has plenty of room. I read reviews commenting about the fan noise-- in my opinion that's not a significant issue. I have an open floor plan and the sound is fairly minimal and doesn't disturb us at all.

Kitchen aid double oven

I have been using my ovens for about 10 days. I have noticed it takes a lot of time for the oven to reach the set temperature. It also takes a long time for the fan to quit running once the oven is turned off.

Very Unhappy

I am very unhappy with this oven. Whirlpool/Kitchenaid appliances are all I've ever owned and this by far is the worst appliance they've ever designed. Uneven cooking, cooling fans run up to an hour after the oven is shut off, takes for ever to preheat. It looks good and is pretty is the only positive thing I can say about this oven.

Glass doors break

This was installed 8/2014 and within 15 months, both interior glass panels have broken on the doors. They both broke in the same place at the top near the screws. My guess is that the heat from the self cleaning function is a cause. I am no longer using the self clean function.

slow and noisy

Although I love how spacious these ovens are....there are also a few annoying things. The noise the bottom oven makes when it's cooling down is unbelievable. Loud! I've also been disappointed with how long it takes to heat the ovens (even with the rapid preheat). At least now I know, and can plan to start heating much earlier than I'll need the oven to be warm. In addition, the oven doesn't keep the temperature well....I often have to turn up the temperature and then turn it back down....just to keep consistent (this is for the regular bake and the convection).

Does the job well despite some quirks

It gets up to temperature quickly and cooks the food uniformly without problems. It just is a few weird things like leave the fan on for quite some time after it is done baking and turned off. It's nice though that it keeps track of how long things have been in the oven.

Great for 11 months

Love the ovens. But highly recommend getting extended warranty (and so did the service technican). Worked great for 11 months. One Sunday in the middle of baking 2 dishes the ovens went out. thankful it was still under warranty. but I immediately purchased a 5 year extended warranty. I have always been pleased with Kitchenaid appliances.

Great look and features

We really love the look and functionality of this oven. It doesn't have a bunch of overly fancy features that you wouldn't use, and is super user friendly. My one complaint of this oven is it takes a LONG home to preheat. Like, 25 minutes to get to 425. I'm not sure if this is normal for this product or i got unlucky, but we really love it regardless. It also has a "cool down" feature so there's a fan inside that runs for awhile after you turn the oven off, but it's quiet and doesn't bother me.

Better than expected!!!

We redid a whole kitchen and I was pleasantly surprised to see that our new KitchenAid double oven had 2 offset lights that actually light up the whole inside to see everything cooking. Then they added a middle area to pull out the oven rack easily. To top it off I found the oven heated up very quickly and I thought I just like the looks and great shade of blue interior. Very top of the line and hats off to who ever was on the design team. Also, it is easy to use and I didn't need to read the directions to figure it out.

A great set of ovens!

Our new double wall ovens are a dream. Beginning with the easy slide racks, the hidden heating elements, and the sleek styling, the performance features complete a perfect picture. I especially like the control panel - it's easy to read and is intuitive to use. A small feature, but one that makes a big difference is the interior lights on both sides of each oven. Great Oven

I bought this oven about 2 months ago, and am extremely happy with it! Love having convection in both oven, and the temperature probe ensure my roasts are done to perfection. Heats up quickly, and is much quieter than my old oven. Love that it vents from the bottom so that it does not blow directly on the electronic pad, that is what killed my last one.

Outstanding Ovens!

We finished a total kitchen remodel and installed the KitchenAid Double Wall Ovens. They have been in use for a little over a month now and I love them! The controls are so easy to use. Food is cooked perfectly and evenly. The blue interior and bright lights (2 in each oven) make seeing your food much easier and brighter. I love the clear glass doors too. The controls make it very easy to convert your cooking time and temp. for convection cooking. The racks are very strong and I love how the lower rack is on ball bearing slides and come all the way out of the oven. This is going to be very useful when basting a turkey! Overall the product is beautiful and very well made. We are so happy with our purchase.

Quiet, sssshhh the washer is on.

Came installed in the home when purchased from the builder. Very quiet and washes the dishware very well. There are times I am not sure if it is on or not. Controls are located on the door and is very good when young children are around and the machine is running, the controls cannot be touched.

I am very, very happy with this unit. Preheats very quickly, convection is awesome, everything is just great. The blue interior is impressive, and the racks as well. It did not come with a broiler pan, which I thought was odd. The temperature probe is the best thing since sliced bread! Love it, and it is dead on temperature-wise.

Mixed reviews. They take a long time to pre-heat (at least 20 minutes). The fans were very noisy and run for a long time during and after use. I had the fans replaced and now they are much improved. Top oven was about 10 degrees too hot but I learned how to calibrate the heat by modifying the settings. Even after calibration, I cannot use the top rack of the upper oven or things will burn. We have to be strategic about where to place the racks. The bottom oven is more even and predictable than the upper oven.

I recently started cooking with my new kitchenaid double oven and am very happy with it. It heats up quickly which is a real plus. I love that when you set the convection oven, it tells you what time the food should be finished. The racks glide out so smoothly, it's a pleasure. It's also nice to have 3 nicely weighted racks in each oven. So far, I' m very pleased with it.

My former ovens were Thermador. Thermador costs more these days but I liked the controls better. The Kitchenaid blue oven interior is cool. One complaint- you can't keep the oven door open when broiling as I could with my old oven. Not good when you are trying to watch crostini or cheese toppings to get to the desired color.

I've only used one of the two ovens once so far. Not so great: It took a half hour to pre-heat to 400 and a half hour for the fan to stop. This may be normal for a wall convection oven - not sure. Great: Looks beautiful inside and out. Easy to use control panel. Lots of adjustable racks, that slide nicely. Cooked evenly.

Love our new double oven!

We very much like our new double wall oven that we just got 12/14. They're gorgeous, both inside and out, and the cooking so far has been excellent. We haven't gotten into the "convection cooking" yet so i can't speak to that. There are a couple drawbacks that need mentioning. 1. They take a very long time to preheat (about 20 minutes to get to 450) 2. They are also very noisy and the fan noise continues well after the ovens are turned off. Overall, we love them and the cooking has been excellent!
