Bought this dryer with matching washer Nov 2009. Washer was nothing but problems but this year the problems began with this dryer. It makes the worst sounds when drying on any cycle. Started acting up as soon as the extended warranty expired. Will not buy another maytag.

This dryer is fantastic. We had to replace an older model Neptune that finally failed. With a little research, and advice and counsel from a few professionals, I decided to go with this model. Not only does it have greater capacity, but it is a gas model, which has already saved us money on our utility bill. We have a large family and must do several loads of laundry a week; I have no doubt this sturdy, extremely well-built machine is up to the task.

i purchased an open box display unit at discount price. it is a great purchase. It has large capacity and it saves energy and dries fast. I also love the sanitize and steam feature that's perfect for baby clothing. I love it that it's not loud so I can run it while watching a movie.

I'm very pleased with my dryer. My previous dryer was 23 yrs old Maytag gas. I have no compliants with the features of my new gas dryer. I elected not to hook up the "steam" feature at this time. My clothes come out wrinkle free as it is.

Nice large capacity in a compact box.. Does a good job with everything but the smallest of drying loads. Very small loads seems to trick the sensors and thus are very hard to get fully dry.

This dryer is spacious and has a feature of steam drying. This is particularly great for me because my laundry room is on a lower floor and I sometimes get busy and forget about the time on the dryer. When I realize it, the clothes have been laying in the dryer long enough that they are now wrinkled. The steam cycle freshens the clothes and they come out wrinkle free. I don't have to iron them! It's GREAT!

I absolutely love my dryer. It is only missing one feature that I wish it had. It does not have the ability for me to set the timer to whatever I want. When the load is done and I only need an additional five minutes the dryer does not have this feature.Otherwise the dryer is great. It is the quietest appliance that I have ever owned. The buzzer is the only noise that hear when the load is done. Gas keeps the bill down.

My dryer suddenly died & we found this Maytag dryer at a Sears Outlet. It's performance has been more than I expected. I've had to guess at using the features because unfortunately it did not come with a manual. It's large capacity is great, the lint screen is easily accessible & easy to clean, it's very quiet when running & doesn't burn my clothes but gently dries them. I absolutely love it!

There is a knob protruding in the back of the inside of the dryer where the steam comes out and it catches on items. It has ruined several items. I have had a service person come out to inspect this and they have said, sorry this is just how it's made, live with it.

Great dryer. It is a little longer than the old style dryer I had and now makes my older top load washer look dated. Guess I will be buying that next. The steam function is great. Didnt know how often I would use it and now is a staple to my laundry duties. Will never go back.
