I bought this red whirlpool washer in June of this year. Started not to get it based on others reviews but so happy I did. It is a great washer, cleans clothes and very nice. It works for me and it will you too. I suggest reading the manual before using to familiarize yourself with the machine because it does clean well but many reviews said it does not. Maybe they didn't read the manual first.

I have had this dryer for 16 months. The other day it just stopped. It powers on, I can change settings, push start and it just humms and will not tumble no error code. Not the belt checked that, looks like the blower moter is out which makes the drum turn. i bouggt this brand new. Won an argument to get this and now i have to eat crow bc he was tight it didn't last long at all for the price. If it weren't for this issue overall it would be a great dryer if the parts lasted more than a year and a half. I expect to get 2-5 years before having to replace parts. Our matching washer is fine.

We have had our dryer for about two years. It suddenly stopped heating. Had the heating coil replaced, the thermostat, and both thermisters. The dryer will not heat. No error codes show up but it still will not heat. We bought the set and paid on them over time. The washer is wonderful and running great. Sorry but have to give the dryer a poor rating for the price.

Drum will not turn, heat does not stay on

We purchased this dryer a few months ago for our new home. We ran one load in it fine, but when we tried to start is for the second one, the drum would not turn and after holding down the run button got the L2 error code. Checked the line voltage into the house and to the back of the unit and only noticed a 1.3 V difference between the two legs. I couldn't find any documentation on the input line sensitivity and because it was after hours, have to wait until Monday to talk to someone. The drum will turn if manually helped and the heating element will come on for a few seconds, but eventually go out. Very frustrating to have to deal with this while still unpacking from the move-in.

We purchased this after having the top of the line exploding Samsung. We are a family of 6 people, 3 pets and a lot of laundry. When choosing a washer and dryer I need power, efficiency, and easy. This set does not disappoint. It has all the bells and whistles. I no longer have to lug our heavy comforters to the nasty laundry mat everytime the cat pukes on it. It is gentle on my gentlest things, and has the power to wash 13 year old boy under garments...yikes! Highly reccommend.
