Bought weeks ago was delivered with a dent on top. Was in factory packaging. The store wants to replace the whole stove when it is only the trim on top.The clock display is small and of center. Not esthetically pleasing.Gridle is way to small. No broiling pan supplied. The one offered is too expensive.

the broiler has a major problem which two different certified whirlpool technicians can not solve. The builder is now involved as he has to stand by the product that he put into this new home. I hope we can get this resolved soon as I am not comfortable with using this stove for fear of the problem.

Improvements needed

The burners were set too high and took 2 tech visits to fix. The simmer burner is still set too high to simmer foods. The griddle is much smaller than expected. A store bought large griddle would probably work better to feed a large group. Using 2 griddles would probably work. AquaLift cleaning is good. The stove top is not too difficult to clean. You cannot cook on 5 burners at once unless you use 5 tiny pots! What were they thinking?

I love this oven. Has great features, it cooks evenly with average pans and the oven is true to temp. I have noticed a slight constant hum (even when the oven or stove isn't on) that wasn't there before but you get used to it pretty quickly.

Pros got lots of nifty features including the dafety feature that the broil mode turns itself off if the door is left open.Cons still dont like having the grill/broil mode in the oven instead of eye level like in europe. I Bought the range over 3mths ago and absolutely love it. Previous range was a 9 year old smooth top electric Kitchen aid, and I always wanted to switch to gas and so glad I did! the stove top clean-up is o.k. of course smooth top is easiest I do wish the top of the range was stainless steel instead of black. The self clean oven feature stays pretty cool and works great, way better than past range that heated, and stunk-up the whole house. I have always purchased kitchen aid and whirlpool products and have great success with them as you can see my previous stove was 8 years old as was my dishwasher and refrigerator still running!

I have had the oven and range top for about three months. It took a while getting used the commands and menu selection, but we really like and enjoy this product. A few words of note, the rack position in the oven is critical to proper heating in cooking of items (please follow the manual). Secondly, the range to burners vary in BTU ratings and related cooking times. ( please follow the manual), Finally and the only really con that we have is that the Aqua Lift cleaning is not very good if any spills are baked into the surface through subsequent use of oven.

I have had this stove for over a month now, and have been pleased. I've noticed it takes longer to bake than my old oven, but the 20 year old beast burned everything or cooked unevenly- so this is definitely an upgrade! The oven looks great and has some interesting features: the power burner really lives up to its name, the aqua clean feature is pretty cool (but again the old oven had no self-clean feature so I have nothing to compare it to), the warming tray in the bottom, etc. Only slight complaint is the grates on the top are 2 large inter-locking pieces. Some pots don't seem to sit evenly. I'm not used to it being all one piece on top. They do however lift up for easy cleaning. Overall, I'm very pleased and would recommend this range.

I bought this range about a month ago to replace a similar Whirlpool Gold range. I love the sleek look. The grill pan is a nice added feature. The warming draw is awesome. It would be difficult to ever live without one again. The convection is great, especially for Baking. No more switching pans around in the middle of cooking. I haven't found much use for the fifth cooking element. The cleaning system is great, but it took me a bit to adjust to it from the old system. Be sure to read the directions thoroughly! It could prevent costly errors in cleaning and cooking methods.

I have used the bake, broil and top burners and I am extremely satisfied with the performance of all. I am very surprised as to how much better the food tastes using the convection mode. The cast iron grates are easily removed when cleaning and they give the range a sturdy look. I have not used the self cleaning technology as of yet. Prior to this purchase my major appliances were all Kenmore. I will definitely look to Whirlpool in the future.

I like cooking with gas.

We purchased this several weeks ago. getting used to the control panel with multiple uses for the buttons takes some experience, like not turning off the oven instead of the timer.

Great Gas Range

Had this bad boy installed for almost a week now, this is a great gas range for the prize. Oven seems to pre heat pretty quickly. Been a long time since cooking with gas, but man its great to be back.
