The Whirlpool Duet

I previously owned the Whirlpoot Duet Sport model which worked wonders for years until the door started to leak and I need a new seal. After considering the cost to replace vs buying brand new, it made more sense to buy brand new. I again choose the Whirlpool Duet. I like the fact that it has a cold water setting and it washes faster even when doing whites compared to my older model. The drum seems to hold more laundry as well. I've read other reviews, but personally I haven't had any problems with Whirlpool Duet models and that's why I continued to stick with them.

I had heard mixed review about front-loading washers so I wasn't sure if I was going to like this washing machine or not. I love it! I haven't had any problems with odor or slimy detergent drawers. It spins so much water out of the clothes that drying takes no time at all!

At first I was surprised that the wash loads took so long, but then I realized the clothes actually got a lot cleaner because they did the old fashioned thing of soaking the clothes. Stains and odors are removed really well and it doesn't use much water.

We were so confused when looking at a new washer and dryer as we have not bought any in years. (Our last was a Whirlpool also and lasted 13 years) We LOVE everything about this. Our clothes look amazing and all of my 2 year old mud and food stains come right out. There are so many options for washing. I purchased Whirlpool Duet washer and dryer 12 years ago, I literally got a chair and sat in front of them to watch them work! Sad day when my washer died for very good reasons it worked non stop for those 12 years! I again purchased Whirlpool Duet, why wouldn't I? I couldn't wait to do my first load, although after so many years of daily laundry chore that I would love to retire from this new washer is The most amazing appliance in my house so of course going to it each day is not hard. It really does my big families laundry in just a few loads and I love the setting for the different types of wash.

I have used this washing machine for about 3 months. It is so much better than the one I had. It was a brand name machine and lasted less than 2 years. The Whirlpool washer does not shake or bang. It is very quiet running. The settings are great. They are easy to read and follow. I am very pleased with this machine. I would recommend this machine to anyone.

I bought this washing mashine about 9 months ago, and I'm very satisfied with this purchase . I thought it has a soak option but it doesn't, otherwise it works great. Because I have six kids I have two washing mashines. The other one has a steam option and for me it is easier to clean this whirlpool duet because it has a self-clean option.

I like this washer it holds a lot and cleans well. I don't like how the soap, bleach and fabric softener dispenser lets it out before the load starts because it leaks on the floor if I have to add anything else...also the bleach dispenser never releases it all. Other than that I love it exsp since I had old school top loader that was small and had the adgetator.

Whirlpool Front Loading Washing Machine

This is the first front loading washing machine I have purchased. One of my complaints is that you have to bend over so far to see if any clothes were left in the washer. Also I miss the convenience of being able to soak whites prior to washing- which I did quite often on my previous machines. Also if I wanted to just wash a couple of things, for a small load- you only have one option on this machine- Quick wash- which takes 27 minutes. I would like to be able to set the amount of time for the Quick wash. It does spin out the water very thorough and thus saves drying time. If per chance something happens to this machine -I will probably not buy another front loading machine.
