Sold only to builders. Unbelievably noisy. sounds like grinding when it is in the wash cycle. Can't trade it in. Came in a new condo - I wanted to throw out, but my wife said let's keep it until we see something better on sale. Never Worked do not waste your money.

This is the worst washer machine i have in my entire life. Since the first day it didnt work. I have to wash clothing over 3 time to get a decent wash. 6 month after purchase it wont move. Before it was completely useless the only way to wash something was to put it in bulky and still took over 2 hours per wash. So imagine only a few jeans over 5 hours of work because this useless machine. You have been warned. Just dont waste your money.

I bought this washer two months ago and it has taken me a while to get use to all the different features. You really need to read the manual to understand some of the settings. The first couple of loads came out with white marks on a couple of dark items and I was unable to remove the marks, so I wasn't too happy about that. The washer is a low level water machine and although it is a large capacity washer I don't put as much in as I would have my smaller washing machine because I don't feel like they are getting clean. Still not to confident in this washer yet.

We live in an area where water usage must be minimized. However, I do suggest that more direction be given about the detergent to be used. Our military commissary system does not carry the niche Tide product recommended -- therefore an issue for 3 million potential consumers.

The wash machine is adequate - wash machine technology has not changed much recently and this machine does what it is suppose to do, using less water. If you can get a good price, consider it. When loading clothes, the agitator cannot be covered. It would be helpful if Whirlpool installed an extender - a protrusion to the agitator that automatically kept the area clear of clothing. For heightchallenged individuals, a side load machine is better. This is a tall machine, and if your cellar floor requires putting the machine on cinder blocks, it is difficult for shorter people to access the inside of the machine.

This washer was recommended by our builder. It is a very good appliance and automatically senses the amount of clothing in the machine to determine the amount of water needed. Without a center agitator it holds a large amount of wash and has different settings you can use depending on the contents.

I bought this washer almost a year ago and and I still HATE IT.It is way to noisy for starters. It does not get your clothes clean, and ties them in knots. It does not put enough water in the tub and you often find detergent in your clothes. I would get rid of it in a second if I could. But,, like some other, I am stuck with it. I also have the dryer and it is totally different. It is a very good dryer and I am pleased with it. Wish I could say the same for the washer.

This washer serves its purpose. It's efficient, uses less water and washes my clothes. It's on the louder side, especially when spinning on high. I often lower to a slower spin to reduce the noise but it's not a deal breaker. I love the money I save on detergent and it leaves no marks on clothes. I also read that people think this doesn't wash your clothes due to less water but that's not the case. My clothes are always saturated and smelling fresh. Be sure to read the instructions and load the washer correctly.

After four loads would be very happy to get my money back, can't believe how loud this machine is, sent a video to the guy I bought it from, he said the loud noice is normal, machine is loud and vibrates, so far very very disappointed, if someone from Whirlpool wants to see the video happy to forward, your site won't let me upload, keep you updated. My Maytag lasted 20 years, this one may not last 20 days. On the upside the Cabrio dryer is great, but the washer not so much so far.

The washer is very noisy and the sounds it makes while sensing is annoying. Some of the cycles do not even get the clothes wet....actually have to reset and use the setting for deep water wash and also use the extra rinse. Then after using these settings it is impossible to use the delicate cycle etc. The stainless steel tub has had to be replaced twice as it was rusting at the very top edge. If I could - I would give it back right now.

No bleaching instructions on inner lid. I followed the instructions in the manual. So far I have ruined two pairs of slacks and one shirt that I was wearing when I used bleach. I have ruined one king sheet and one night shirt that were in the machine itself. I am 66 years old and never had this problem with any other washer.

I love how much less water we're using and the fact that our whites are so white! Really happy with the purchase, can save on our dry cleaning bill as well. Really good value for money!

We bought this clothes washing machine a month ago. If you are accustomed to the older top load agitator style, there is some getting use to the new sounds and functionality , including the fact that the machine uses remarkably little water. The detergent and softener dispensers are a really nice feature. Clothes come out looking and smelling clean and fresh - which is really what it is all about !!

Very quiet

Writing this on behalf of my boyfriend because I use the washing machine more then he does. He bought the washer in Sept and we are both very happy with mostly how quiet it is. Being a female I can really appreciate the fact that it's very gentle with my delicates and it does a great job on getting my boyfriends very soiled hunting clothes clean. All the features this machine has are great. It almost makes the decisions for you. Over all we are very pleased.
