My husband and I bought this about two months ago and could not believe the quality in the picture compared with our 12 year old smart tv. The clarity and color is amazing. And our old smart tv was much more difficult to use. Two different remotes two different home pagesone for the smart and one for regular tv. This is just so easy to use especially if you stream And we also use an antenna for local tv and again the picture is amazing but even better we were able to pick up about 40 more channels We are big tv watchers so this has been a great buy for us.

Hard to beat the price of this tv for what you get. Nice picture and good sound through the internal speakers. The Alexa compatibility is nice but spotty - but the remote isnt great. The remote featured in the instruction manual isnt the same as whats provided but Ive got a higher end LG with their more advanced remote and thats not great either. Really wish LG would consider a change to make it more intuitive but they continue to promote the magic remote as outstanding feature. But - its not. Its probably the weakest part of their branding.

Bought 2 weeks ago from Costco. Picture and sound are very good. Certain apps like netflix and prime video will not work. I did everything suggested remedy there was 5 times over. Update software Set location internet connection reboot modem download lg app on phone delete app and reinstall. Nothing fixes the problem. Contacted Customer support over in India and they gave me a canned answer that had nothing to do with my issue and then hung up me. Im returning the TV and never buying an LG product again.

I like this TV a great deal. The picture is very bright. The images are sharp the blacks are black. Slight pixelation but not very noticeable. My only criticism is the remote control. For instance if I want to set the sleep timer something I use at night I have to press many buttons many time. It would be nice if it had a dedicated button on the remote. All things considered it is a great value for the money

Oh how technology has changed This is so much easier to use to find and watch my streaming channels and because we cut the cable cord about a year ago and use an antenna for local stations it is soooo much easier to watch local stations. We also get about 30 more stations using the existing antenna Easy to use and the best picture Cant ask for anything more

Bought this for my teenager sons bedroom and its perfect. I put the tv on a low table/stand but this can be wall-mounted too. TV has a lot of streaming apps/services. He uses Netflix and Youtube the most. My son also connected his Switch by connecting a hdmi cord behind the tv. Looks and sounds great and is so fun Perfect size sleek appearance and was easy to assemble.

Ive always enjoyed LG products and since I had another LG TV that has lasted me well over 12 years I thought I would purchase another one. Im very disappointed in it. First of all the apps that are available on the TV are very minimal so I needed to go buy a Roku just to get to some of the apps that I needed to buy. Second of all and this is my biggest disappointment there is no smart remote That goes with this television. There was a brochure in the box encouraging me to buy one since I hate spilling out everything I need to purchase or buy on a TV screen. I purchased a smart remote sure enough it doesnt work with this TV. I called LG they dont make one for this TV. Why on earth they would put a brochure in the box encouraging me to buy a smart remote when there is not one that supports his television is beyond me. I then called their third-party distributor who also in formed me that there is no remote that is voice activated that works with this television. Had I known this TV was so limited I never wouldve purchased it. I also think its poor marketing tonight at least tell people upfront those two features. So now if I want to watch some thing I literally need to use two separate remotes one for the Roku one for the television I honestly believe this was a waste of my money but its already attached to the wall now

TV is great except for damage that was apparent when taking it out of the box. The frame on the horizontal left side is bent and the front does not attach to the back causing light to beam out of the side. Had to put GOrilla Tape over the seperation to stop it. LG refuses to honor the warranty says it is void since the unit is damaged It obviously was damaged when it arrived most likely packaged that way. When I tried to get this corrected/repaired they deflect the blame tell me the warranty is now void. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER LG PRODUCT Too many better brands to choose from then to go thru this garbage again.

Overall I am very satisfied - a 8.9 out of 10 4 out of 5 above. Ac couple of things that would lift my score: a beginners manual in the box to help with initial setup better instructions for the remote and/or better icons on the actual remote for easier use. Trying to use the online guides and manuals requires a separate device and less practical help than being able to have a hard copy in hand while navigating the options on the TV itself.

After a rough start I am now thoroughly enjoying our new TV. Installation and setup was very simple. However the first set I bought had a couple of bad pixels so I went back to Best Buy to exchange it for another same model. The 55 inch set fits perfectly in my smaller living room. The picture is excellent with great depth of color and deep blacks. There are several picture and sound settings available and I have the sound going to a sound bar as the built in speakers are a bit thin sounding for my ears - but Ive heard worse The biggest negative for me is there are only two HDMI inputs and one is for audio leaving just one for additional video sources. Since LG has its own webOS I hooked up my Roku for additional streaming options since some apps we watch arent available thru LG we use DirecTV Stream. I also have an external antenna on our roof giving me access to 94 local digital over-the-air stations available from Chicago and Northwest Indiana stations. LG has over 200 free stations available as well so there is plenty to watch. Overall Im very happy with this LG TV.
