I purchased this unit two months ago and it works very well ac and heat on it our electric bill isnt outrageous so thats a plus we did have a issue with it and we called customer service and they were very professional they sent a technician out to fix the issue and the unit works as good as new we are definitely satisfied thanks lg

Product less than two years old already broken wont shut down when correct temperature reached. Talked to LG tech. Said probably cause is motherboard cant find parts for this model. Help.

The noise level is high due to the small supply area making high velocity air noise.
The temperature drop is only average 15 degrees from return to supply.

This is my 3rd unit Im hoping this last longer than the other 2. My first one and second one started leaking freon at 2 years old. My second still under warranty had to be fixed twice. So will see how long the 3rd one last.

i bought this AC on 6-1-23 had it installed it was working good for a week and then it quit cooling on 6-11-23 i have not been able to return it yetbut when i do ill get my refund and purchase some other brand of AC not an LG.

I bought this and it worked great for 3 weeks.my house felt great All of a sudden the motor stopped. Theres power to it but it just stopped. Im in a rural area so it seems challenging to get someone out there to look at it. Its al frustrating cause no one has even called me about it and its been out for about a month. Its HOT and Im in Florida The kids and sure would like our AC fixed.

I bought my LG cooling/heating appliance about a month ago. Its so faithful during the summer months and good to me during the few and far between cold days during the winter here in deep south Texas Downside is trying to clean inside when the dirty and mold start. Its a huge job and can also need up your air conditioner which is so expensive to begin with. Then you have to buy another.

My elderly neighbors LW1221HRSM stopped working at 13 months. Of corse its out of warranty. The condensing fan blade broke off 2 blades and locked up the fan when one of the blades got jammed. Heres the odd thing. Only one broken blade was found in unit. That could only mean it was shipped with one blade broken off and removed during manufacturing.

I hate this unit. It short cycles every minute on or off the energy saver. It defaults to the setting without your choice. Senseless to include a button that doesnt override the feature. This is an expensive unit. It requires a special electrical plug and voltage installed by an electrician.
It is so loud it rivals jets.
I would run over it if I could.

I bought the LW1221HRSM the LW8021HRSM in July of 2021. They were purchased because they had WiFi and I could turn them on remotely when the temperatures were below freezing. They would sometimes lose their connection but I was always able to reconnect them. In November 2022 they lost WiFi before a severe cold front making them basically useless. They will not connect because the network connection is unstable. LG has admitted that they are having issues with the LGEwhisen network but they dont have any solutions. I am furious that I wasted money buying these and they only served their purpose for just over a year. I have several other LG products and have always been satisfied but these are making me rethink any LG product

We purchased this unit to replace ours that was legitimately from 1970 something. We can only hope this one lasts as long So far we love the compact size and relative quiet noise level of this unit. The cooling and heating is perfectly sufficient for our large master bedroom. My only complaint is that I wish it was smarter. My goal in finding a new unit was to have something that could monitor the air temp and kick on when needed. I thought this unit would do that but what it does is kick on every 3 minutes to take the temp of the room and then reacts as needed. A little annoying if you want to keep the room at a certain temp at night as you have to deal with the noise of it coming on every few minutes. If that was improved somehow to have a thermostat that could constantly monitor then wed be at 5 stars. Overall still happy with our upgrade.

I bought this AC about a week ago brand new from Home Depot and Im already having problems with it. It makes noise and I thought I installed it wrong but taking a closer look its some type of radiator or something thats shakes. It get annoying and I cant sleep. Next it doesnt cool. AT ALL I put it on the lowest temperature and leave my bedroom for 30 minutes and when I come back I get hit with a heat wave PLEASE DONT BUY THIS BRAND This ac was expensive and to have it not work properly just gets me and my husband angry

After doing my homework I finally decided to get this unit and after paying someone alot of money alot of money to install a new breaker and plug and to run the new wire. I plug it n and nothing. Idk what Im gonna do my my wife threw away the box that had my receipt in.

We originally found this unit as being the top of ten ACs for 2022. The model was unavailable so we kept looking to see what else LG had. We found the same unit with WI-FI. It was ordered on a Friday and was delivered free to Western Nebraska by Monday morning coming all the way from Georgia. If the heater works as well as the AC we will be double happy. This unit replaced a well used LG unit that had no Wi-Fi or heat.
